The locals’ breakfast and brunch hotspot ‘Cafe Alf Resco’ is worth a visit, and the Anchorstone Café on Coronation Park is perfect for lunches in the sun. A longer walk will take you to the South West Coast Path which runs out the mouth of the river past Dartmouth Castle. Blackpool Sands is the closest beach, a 5-minute drive in the village of Stoke Fleming.
