The Garden Cottage is a holiday home for all seasons, blending fresh décor with homely comforts. Just a stone’s throw from the centre of Dartmouth and the waterside, its elevated position gives splendid views over the town and river from the master bedroom and the well-tended garden – a perfect spot for lunch on a sunny afternoon. Inside, feature stone walls and solid wood floors envelop you in maritime cottage charm. Plus, there’s a log burner for the chillier months. Dogs are welcome, too.

The garden at the rear of the property overlooks the town and river and is a delightful suntrap with mature flower beds, seating areas and lawns as well as a decked area at the top with dining table and chairs. Dogs are welcome at the The Garden Cottage and the garden is secure with plenty of space.

The shops and restaurants are a 4-minute walk away down hill (maybe longer walking back). Alfresco is locally renowned for breakfast. On the riverfront you will find Mitch Tonks ‘The Rockfish’ and ‘The Seahorse’. Also on the river front you will find transport links via the ferries and steam train. Up the hill at the top of Jawbones there is access to Jawbones field and the Jubilee Trail.
